Appointed by mayors of the largest city in Connecticut to represent all city departments and boards in civil litigation matters, with particular emphasis on the defense of police officers and other municipal actors in federal claims arising from alleged violations of civil rights pursuant to 42 U.S.C. Sec. 1983, as well as the defense of claims brought against the Board of Education, Fire Department, and Health Department, with particular emphasis on the defense of suits seeking injunctions.
